Program Educational Objectives: The Program Educational Objectives of the B. Tech (Artificial Intelligence) Program are to produce graduates doing the followings objectives:

The objectives of the Artificial Intelligence Program are to develop AI Engineering graduates who are prepared to -

·Practice the profession of AI Engineering with competence, professionalism and competitiveness in various facets like design of AI product and solution and project management.

·Pursue personal and professional growth with superior work ethics and work character.

·Pursue advanced studies and research at post graduate level and contribute to the society.

·Establish themselves as Artificial Intelligence experts in various private and public sectors that are involved in the creation and maintenance and use of industrial and organization usage of Artificial Intelligence systems.

·Finding complex patterns and insights of data using artificial Intelligence techniques for better decision making.

·Solve real world problems by applying knowledge ethically that will benefit organizations and society at large.

·Adapt to changing trends in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, and become lifelong learners.

a. Who will enable students to be skilled to solve industry complex problem. Contemporary Industry demands of Artificial Intelligence professionals who are skilled to shoulder industries AI automation related issues (starting from healthcare, medical imaging, Agriculture, Manufacturing, information Security, Finance and all other business domain modeling, implementation and management) and solutions, enhancing industry’s’ better decision making process. The solutions created should make appropriate use of latest efficient technologies.

b. Who will ensure that students use and apply knowledge in an ethical manner? They should create solutions which addresses the need of organizations. Also, they should create solutions which help solve problems and thus create a positive impact on not only industries but society at large. The solutions created should be built ethically; this will ensure that no harm comes to the end customer or the organization where the student will be employed.

c. Who will ensure that the students keep themselves abreast of the latest technological advances? Students would be able to pursue their area of specialization through higher studies, on-job training or through self-learning. This will help them build solutions using apt newer emerging algorithm, research and technology, and also help them conduct research in the field and even create technology for future.

Teaching, Learning & Evaluation

Curriculum for the program includes adequate balance of fundamental / foundation, core and elective courses. The courses are based on a credit structure with 22-26 credit per semester totaling to around 170 credits over for the entire 4 years B Tech Program including 7 months of industry internship. Every course is assigned lectures and practical as per requirement. The program course content is reviewed every year with industry inputs and participation.

The school encourages students to learn through experiential mode along with class room delivery. The delivery is very actively supported by Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS facilitates learning beyond classroom through YouTube and other online courses and contents available on the net. Through this innovative teaching and learning process, students have ample opportunity to learn through different modes. The curriculum also emphasizes on continuous self-learning.

Evaluation is based on continuous assessment throughout semester with appropriate weightage for in semester work, as well as end semester exams. Different modes of evaluation like open book exam, quiz and viva are available for the faculty to ensure attainment of course and program out-comes as defined above.




To address the ' Ý ' Generation needs which expects 24x7 online learning content as a supplement to the classroom learning, several modes of delivery are available, in addition to project based learning, implementation of technology, projects executed in the industry, participation in international competitions, group work etc. This innovation in Pedagogy ensures that students have several learning opportunities matching to their aspirations.

Students completing the program are found to be highly employable due to the innovative teaching – learning process adopted along with different modes of evaluation and industry internship for experience. Due to the emphasis on continuous self-learning, students are ready to undertake research and problem solving capabilities in different emerging and disrupting technologies.
