MPSTME is the most preferred campus by recruiters while scouting talent in the domain of data science and analytics. The three most revered programs in the data science domain – B.Tech Data Science, M.Tech Data Science & M.Tech Artificial Intelligence have gained recognition from the industry from the first batch itself.
The B.Tech Data Science program started in 2017. With only first batch being passed out in 2021 and the second one graduating this year, the program has been awarded as the #2 Best Program by Analytics Magazine and the #4 Best Program by Education World this year. The 1st batch saw excellent placements with Rs. 14.7 LPA as the Highest Package and an International Package of Rs. 27 LPA. The 2nd batch saw an increase not only in the highest package but also in the average CTC. The Highest CTC for the 2018-2022 batch is Rs. 18.4 LPA and the Average CTC is Rs. 9.09 LPA. This clearly reflects support given by our Placement Partners like ZS associates, Google, Mphasis Dun & Bradstreet, PayPal, Deloitte, Quantiphi, Mondelez, Ugam Solutions, eClerx, i3systems, among many others. It is an immense pleasure for us to see BTech Data Science growing with each passing year.
The M.Tech Data Science (Business Analytics) program started back in 2015, whereas the M.Tech Artificial Intelligence program started back in 2018. The M.Tech Artificial Intelligence program has been ranked the #3 best AI Program in India by Analytics Insight. Since the very first batches, the placement records have been quite good for both the programs, which have only grown to be better since then. The graduating batch of 2020-22 did very well during the placement season- both internships as well as final placements. The Highest Package offered to this batch is Rs. 16.5 LPA and Average package being Rs. 12.6 LPA for M.Tech AI and Rs. 11.72 LPA for M.Tech DS (BA). The batch of 2020-22 saw participation of some new Placement Partners like KPMG, ZS Associates, Morgan Stanley, Mondelez, Deloitte, eClerx while our regular placement partners like SAS, General Mills, Sharekhan, Crisil, FedEx Express India once again showed their trust on us by considering our students for specific roles in the data science domain.
The excellent placements for 2022 batches of all the three programs are testimony to the support from the industry and performance of our students in the roles offered to them.
