We’re thrilled to highlight a significant milestone in the collaboration between AkzoNobel and the Data Science Department at MPSTME, NMIMS, focused on advancing AI-ML innovations in color technology!
📍 From December 16th-18th, students from 4th Year B.Tech (Data Science), M.Tech (Data Science), and Artificial Intelligence had the incredible opportunity to visit AkzoNobel’s International Research Center at their Bengaluru site. This hands-on visit offered invaluable exposure to cutting-edge processes in color technology.
🔹 Blending Theory with Practice: Students, who are already equipped with strong theoretical foundations, are working on real-world industrial challenges, developing AI-ML models to solve practical problems. The visit gave them a first-hand look at how their models integrate into the industry.
🔹 Exploring Color Technology: From understanding innovative stages in color development to witnessing industry workflows and processes, the visit deepened their knowledge of this niche domain and provided insights into the industry’s application of AI and ML in solving complex challenges.
