Mechatronics - MPSTME
ENQUIRE NOW

This programme integrates precision mechanical engineering with electronics, computing technologies, and advanced controls to design and construct products and processes.

Vision:

The aspiration is to be one of the leading programs in academia offering a well-balanced mix of analytical, practical and commercial aspects of the best practices in engineering smart and intelligent industrial systems

Mission:

M1:  Emphasize the industrial aspects of mechatronic systems analysis and design in the curriculum.

M2: Focus on the electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and software engineering components with cutting-edge technology.

M3: Infuse industrial insights into the program via industrial partnerships and internships.

Program Educational Objectives

The graduates of the program will

  1. possess the essential professional mechanical, electronic and software skills for mechatronic and robotics system design.
  2. engage and succeed in the professional career or higher education practicing teamwork, ethics, proactive involvement and effective communication.
  3. demonstrate the importance of lifelong learning by skills upgradation via professional development workshops and technical certifications.

Program Specific Outcomes

The graduates of the program will be able to demonstrate

  1. An excellent grasp of the changing technological landscape in industrial automation
  2. The knowledge of tools to solve challenging industrial problems of mechatronic and robotic realm
  3. The awareness of the mechanical, electrical and electronics, and software skills required for a given implementation

Technology Development Programmes are organized around the year to promote industrial research.

MOU was signed between L&T(Corporate Training & Engg. Academy) and MPSTME, Mumbai to foster industry-institute partnership, facilitate the growth and development of industries, and keep its engineering students up-to-date with the current trends and demands of the Industrial Visits.
