Accreditation is a process of quality assurance whereby a programme in an approved Institution is critically appraised to verify that the programme meets the standards prescribed by the regulatory bodies. Accreditation ensures excellence in the learning experience for students, strengthens employers’ confidence in the degrees granted by the institution and helps institutions to continually strive for improvement. In India, there are three national level bodies namely the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). All programs of MPSTME are approved by the AICTE. Further, NMIMS deemed-to be University is accredited by NAAC with 3.59 CGPA and Grade A+ in the 3rd cycle (Mumbai Campus). Additionally, Bachelor of Technology programs of IT and EXTC are accredited by NBA since 2014.
