The campus proper is located in the New River Valley and is 38 miles southwest of Roanoke.

NMIMS School of Engineering in collaboration with VT offer following programs to its students
Under this program, Virginia Tech (VT) faculty members deliver some courses of the 4-year B Tech Programs in Data Science, AI and Cyber Security conducted at MPSTME. The University also issues a certificate of completion to the students who successfully complete this program along with NMIMS degree.
Under this program, students study first 3 years at NMIMS Mumbai followed by the 4th year and 5th year at Virginia Tech. Upon successful completion with required eligibility students receive a B.Tech. Degree from NMIMS and a BS and MS Degrees from Virginia Tech.
