“Equipping for Excellence”
The Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities forms a trinity of fundamental knowledge from three major domains – Humanities, Commerce, and Science – by offering a range of subjects from languages to literature, math to logical thinking, and physics, chemistry to biology. Amalgamating these core basics, the department plays the cornerstone in facilitating students’ understanding of key concepts and further becomes the launching pad for innovation and application in myriad areas. Our department has knowledgeable and dedicated faculty members that are proficient in both, integrating technology in their pedagogical approaches as well as inculcating empathy in students. This trinity ensures students are trained not only as potential human resources for industry but with a holistic approach, they are also prepared to excel in all aspects of life. A glimpse of this is seen during the Induction Programme and Community Service orchestrated by the BSH department.
