The Department of Artificial Intelligence at MPSTME, NMIMS, stands as one of the school’s pioneering academic units. MPSTME is one of the pioneers to start the B Tech programme in Artificial Intelligence in 2020.
Our primary aim was to address the ever-evolving landscape of the Analytics, AI, and Information Technology Industry. Recognizing the disconnect between classroom learning and industry demands, we sought to bridge this gap effectively.

Within its purview, the department provides a comprehensive range of educational programmes, including undergraduate in Technology (B Tech AI) and technology management (MBA Tech AI). The department also offers a doctoral programme in Engineering in the domain of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) – Two H100 GPUs with Intel(R) Xeon(R) Processor model.
This lab has an additional 38 12th Gen computers desktop with 16 GB RAM.
This lab is being used for conducting research to solve complex problems in various domains such as Computer vision, Medical Imaging, Generative AI, biometrics etc. which need high computing power. The establishment of the lab has boosted the quality of interdisciplinary research, collaborative projects, and publications at various International conferences and journals.
