On 6th September, NMIMS MPSTME’s Computer Engineering Department hosted the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, bringing together students from various departments under one roof to solve pressing real-world challenges. The event witnessed participation from 114 teams, consisting of students from multiple disciplines including Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, and Management, showcasing the spirit of interdisciplinary collaboration.
These talented minds worked tirelessly throughout the event, leveraging their diverse skills to develop cutting-edge solutions in areas such as smart cities, healthcare, sustainability, and social innovation. After a full day of intense brainstorming and coding, 20 teams were shortlisted to advance to the next round, where they will have the opportunity to further refine and present their innovative solutions.
