Dr. Fraticelli received a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2001, while earning 1st place in the national IIE Pritsker Dissertation Competition. She obtained both a B.S. in Industrial Engineering (1995) and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (1997) from Penn State. Barbara’s research and teaching interests focus on all areas of operations research, including optimization, probability and statistics, analytics, and supply chain management. She has taught classes for sophomores through graduate students, as well as executive seminars on analytics.
