Dr. Koteswararao Anne is currently serving as the Dean of SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME), Mumbai. He previously held the position of Director (Academics) at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Madurai, and Vel Tech, Chennai, and served as Dean (Academics) at VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada. He has also gained international research experience as a Research Associate/Assistant at the University of Hanover, Germany, and the University of Klagenfurt, Austria.
He has played a significant role in the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), contributing to India becoming a signatory of the Washington Accord by helping develop accreditation criteria, representing India at International Engineering Alliance meetings, and promoting Outcome-Based Education across institutions. He has served as a member of the NBA Academic Advisory Committee and is actively involved in the CDIO and Problem-Based Learning communities.
Beyond his credentials, Dr. Anne is widely appreciated for his positive outlook, dedication, and tireless work ethic. His approachable nature and solution-oriented mindset have created a supportive academic environment, enabling both faculty and students to grow and innovate. His leadership has played a significant role in strengthening academic processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and his commitment and hard work have been instrumental in guiding and supporting many of us in our professional journeys.
