Achievements

Dr. Sawankumar Naik, a Distinguished Industrial Automation Professor with an illustrious academic journey, holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and specializes in Manufacturing and Operations. He worked as an Engineer and Manager in reputed MNC’s  and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Naik has mentored ground-breaking projects and guided students, making significant contributions to education. His commitment to fostering industrial research and innovative pedagogy earned him international recognition as a Distinguished Industrial Automation Professor. He is a certified expert trained in Germany by Bosch Rexroth AG. In addition to his academic prowess, Dr. Naik has a rich history of service activities, including serving as Regional Coordinator for the MATE ROV Competition in India and Joint Secretary for the Indian Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He has conducted Training Development Programs at NMIMS Bosch Rexroth Centre of Excellence, providing basic and advanced training for multinational corporations. Dr. Naik’s dedication to education and industrial engagement has not gone unnoticed, as he has been honored as one of the Top Super 30 teachers in India, recognized as a “Distinguished Industrial Automation Professor,” and celebrated for achievements at NASA’s Engineering Competition and the MATE ROV Competition.
