Achievements
Dr. Ushma Ahuja, has worked in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and has been associated with the field of photovoltaic cell engineering for bulk and multi-layered thin film for use in solar cells from the past 14 years. She has done ME (Power System and Control) and PhD (Engineering). She was awarded the DST INSPIRE Fellowship for her meritorious record. For research in both electrical and electronics engineering and photovoltaic cell engineering, she has collaborated with NIT Jaipur, NIT Uttarakhand, Mumbai University, CTAE Udaipur, MLSU Udaipur, MS University of Baroda and University of Kota. She is currently working in research areas of Solar Photovoltaic Materials, Optoelectronics, Thin Film and Nano films Technology, Renewable Energy Systems, Evolutionary algorithms and Optimal distributed generation allocation in Power Systems. She has published around 47 research papers and book chapters in reputed peer-reviewed SCI indexed International Journals, national and international conferences (key list of publication provided in biodata). She is a reviewer for many high impact journals like IET Micro and Nano Letters and IET Power Electronics. She currently has 2 research scholars working under her supervision. She is life member of Indian Society of Radiation Physics.
Awards:
Awarded with Department of Science and Technology’s INSPIRE Fellowship (DST-INSPIRE) by MHRD, New Delhi in 2013 for the entire tenure of PhD degree program.
