The 3+1+1 programme is a unique collaboration between NMIMS and Virginia Tech, USA, aimed at developing skilled professionals with expertise in Computer and Data Science, along with business skills.

This programme allows students to earn three degrees:

  • a B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) from NMIMS,
  • a BS in Cybersecurity Management and Analytics from Virginia Tech's Pamplin School of Business by transferring credits from NMIMS, and
  • an MS in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics from Virginia Tech's Pamplin School of Business.

SELECTION PROCESS

NMIMS CET/ SAT/ACT Scores

(The NMIMS Common Entrance Test (NCET) is a mandatory university-level examination for admission to Undergraduate Engineering degree programmes at MPSTME.)

ELIGIBILITY

12th class or equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 45% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / vocational subject. Candidates passing out in 2024 can apply.

Summer Technical Internship Completed by Students (Minimum 300 Hrs)

  • Opportunity for OPT (Optional Practical Training) for three years in the USA, after completion of the programme as per prevalent rules.
  • Admission to MS programme based on GPA in the BS programme and not on GRE/GMAT.
