Voices is a women centric cell which was created last year with the aim of building a community of dedicated women to help each other grow, share their thoughts and ideas and become better versions of themselves. The motive of Voices is to create a safe space to have open discussions on issues, understand as well as address them. Voices is a place to work together, encourage and motivate each other and ensure equal opportunities for all women.
Voices organizes various events throughout the year for women to educate them and overall celebrate the existence of women. October is seen as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so a session for the faculties and students is organized to spread awareness. Self defense workshops are organized throughout the year. Women’s day is celebrated to make women feel good about themselves. Open spaces is an initiative by Voices to engage a group of girls in small activities and discussions.
