RESEARCH PROJECTS AND CONSULTANCY
The institution motivates the faculty, research scholars and the students by conducting various research initiatives listed below. These activities help in actively boosting research.
- Institute provides seed funding to innovative ideas so that the work is not stopped due to lack of funds. This initiative is very crucial for budding researchers.
- Institute encourages quality research work by providing incentives for quality publications.
- Assistance of all levels is offered to the students, researchers and faculty to apply for government funding agencies.
- Financial assistance and advisory support is provided for patent applications.
Research Funding:
Faculty members have received funding from government for their research initiatives –
- Academic year 2019-20
- Ketki Durve and Dr. Geetanjali Ashtekar have received a research grant of INR 1,00,000/- from SVKM’s NMIMS.
- Academic year 2018-19
- Tista Basak received SERB funding for her project- Theoretical investigation of electric structure, optical and magnetic properties of Graphene Quantum Dots. The funding amount was 1,69,000/-
- Academic year 2017-18
- Vinod Jain received funding from LNT for Bosch Rexroth Center of Excellence, Technology Development. The funding amount was INR 4,00,000/-.
- Manoj Sankhe received funding from Bluejay Robotics Pvt. Ltd. for Emerging Start-up in the field of renewable energy. The funding amount was INR 1,50,000/-.
- Asha Ingle received funding from Royal Academy, UK for Transformational leader workshop. The funding amount was INR 1,42,000/-.
- Asha Ingle received funding from Royal Academy, UK for Technology challenge competition. The funding amount was INR 1,42,000/-.
Consultancy Projects
Consultancy is an indicator that shows the excellence of expertise in the domain. Many of the faculties are appointed as consultants on different projects in their study domain. In past three academic years there were total 29 consultancies projects from 21 client organizations. Major client organizations include:
